U2 signed Zooropa Tour commemorative Whisky bottle 1993
A bottle of whisky which was distilled and bottled by Whyte & Mackay Ltd of Glasgow, Scotland to commemorate U2s Celtic Park Gigs on the 7th and 8th of August 1993 which was part of their Zooropa tour Very limited number of these bottles were ever produced and given out to the Band and key crew members, with only 4 ever being signed to their Driver who requested this from the band The bottle comes with a note from the original driver which reads: On the Glasgow date of the U2 Zooropa tour the promoter Regular Music had 50 bottles of whiskey made featuring the date etc on the label. These were not for sale but to be given to the Band and key crew members to celebrate the show. I was the bands driver on these shows and was asked to give them to the band on behalf of Regular Music. When i presented them to the band they realised, they could not take them in their carry-on bags of the plane the next day. I asked them to sign them and i would keep them. As i had driven the band on many occasions they happily obliged. Each member of the band signed each bottle. Only 4 bottles were ever signed by the band. The bottle measures 26 cm in height and is 750ml The condition is very good
