A page which has been extracted from a Belfast Steamship Co notebook which has been signed by Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman, Keith Richards, Brian Jones and Charlie Watts in blue ballpoint pen The autographs date to the 9thof august 1964 when the 'Stones had just landed at Heathrow Airport after returning from a tour engagement. The autographs come with a note from the original owner which reads: “To whom it may concern: Autographs of the five original Rolling Stones (including Brian Jones) The autographs date from the summer of 1964 when the 'Stones had just landed at Heathrow Airport after returning from a tour engagement. From my own records, I've pinned the probable date down to the 4th July; 9th August or 7th September. However, given that they were in a London recording studios during the end of June/beginning of July and were doing an England tour (Leicester, etc) around the September date; this leaves their return from The Hague in Holland on the 9th August as the most likely. I presume that they then took the motorway up to their Manchester gig that day. Their arrival seems to have been a total surprise to everyone at the airport as initially, I saw them ambling through the terminal foyer mostly un-noticed and without any jostling crowds. Luckily, I had a small notebook from the Belfast Steamship Co. in my bag and so asked the 'Stones for their autographs, to which they all readily and chattily agreed. I think that they themselves seemed rather surprised by the lack of general attention, given that some of their concerts around that time were resulting in riots and screaming adoration. However, it had only been a year or so earlier that I had seen them live in my local Youth Club in Pyrford, Surrey. The notebook and signatures have been kept in a little used box of personal effects ever since.” The paper measures 10.4 x 6.5 cm The condition is very good +
