The Beatles U.S. tour programme 1966
An original 1966 Beatles U.S. Tour program, titled "Beatles (U.S.A.) Ltd." Which was sold during the band's third and final concert tour of North America in August 1966. The programme contains numerous black and white photographs of the band, including individual pages dedicated to John, Paul, George, and Ringo. The 1966 U.S. tour consisted of 19 performances (17 in the US and 2 in Canada) and was the last series of commercial concerts The Beatles ever performed. It was particularly notable for the controversy surrounding John Lennon's "more popular than Jesus" remark, which led to protests and record burnings in some American cities.
