The Beatles Christmas Show programme

An original programme for The Beatles Christmas Show which took place at the Astoria Cinema in Finsbury Park, London. The performances ran from the 24th of December 1963 to the 11th of January 1964 A total of 30 shows were performed, with two per day, except for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The show sold out all 100,000 tickets, with sales beginning on the 21st of October 1963. The performances were part concert and part pantomime, with skits and comedy routines. The other acts featured on the bill included Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, Cilla Black, The Fourmost, The Barron Knights, Tommy Quickly, and Rolf Harris. The Beatles' setlist included songs such as "Roll Over Beethoven," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and "Twist and Shout".
