Genesis Publications "Blinds & Shutters" Contributor's Edition Terry Doran Collection

An original contributor's edition of the Genesis Publications book, "Blinds & Shutters" by Michael Cooper, published in 1990. The book features over 600 of Michael Cooper's photographs of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, with forewords by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, an introduction by Terry Southern, and was prepared in consultation with Bill Wyman. It includes contributions from approximately 90 individuals, among them Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Peter Blake, Marianne Faithfull, William S. Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg.

This book is numbered XCII (92) of 250 in Roman numerals, and has been signed by Jo Bergman, Peter Blake, Eric Clapton, Adam Cooper, Terry Doran, Allen Jones, John Mayall, Graham Nash, Harry Nilsson, Keith Richards, Colin Self, Terry Southern, Derek Taylor, and Bill Wyman in various inks.

Provenance: From the collection of Terry Doran. Terence James Doran (1939–2020) was a Liverpudlian luxury car dealer, pop music manager, and music publishing executive who became one of The Beatles' closest inner-circle associates, best known for his association with the band. He came into their world through his friendship with manager Brian Epstein.

The book comes with a Genesis Publications Ltd. letterhead addressed to Terry and is fully bound in leather and buckram, The condition of both box and book is very good +.
