Bruce Springsteen Signed Scarf

A Scarf which has been signed by Bruce Spring Steen in Black Felt tipped pen.

The scarf comes with a letter of provenance from the original owner which reads:

“To whom it may concern,

Bruce Springsteen was playing a solo show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, without the E Street Band. We hadn't managed to get tickets, but that morning we decided to drive down to London and try to buy some outside the venue. On the way into London, we took a wrong turn and got lost, so by the time we arrived it was late and there were no tickets left.

We decided to go to Claridge's Hotel instead and try to get an autograph when he got back. To have something for him to sign, we went to a local shop and bought this scarf. When Bruce Springsteen returned to the hotel, he signed the scarf for me in person. My husband had stood on the other side of the entrance so he could take a photograph if Bruce came his way. Because we had set off on the spur of the moment, the camera battery died at the exact moment he pressed the button.

I confirm that the scarf has been in my possession ever since.
