Apple Peals" internal memo

An original "Apple Peels" internal memo, sent to the Apple Corps Distribution List by Charley Nuccio on the 9th of October 1969.

The memo provides early chart positions and official sales figures for iconic releases from Apple Records, most notably The Beatles' landmark album Abbey Road and its accompanying double A-side single, "Something" / "Come Together".

The memo highlights early chart standings on the US Billboard and Cash Box charts:

"Something" / "Come Together": ranked #20 on Billboard and #36 on Cash Box as singles. It is also noted as a Billboard National Breakout.

Abbey Road (album): ranked #90 on Billboard and #132 on Cash Box, reflecting its rapid, explosive entry onto the charts just weeks after its late-September release.

The memo measures 28 x 21.2 cm.
