A vintage photograph of Janis Joplin, captured by Linda McCartney at the Fillmore East in New York City. Linda McCartney served as the venue’s unofficial house photographer, appointed by promoter Bill Graham. This photograph was taken during Joplin’s powerful performance of “Ball and Chain.” The reverse of the photograph features a Pictorial copyright sticker. The photograph measures 25.4 × 20.3 cm. The condition is excellent.
