The Rolling Stones Top of the Pops Autographs 1964
A page that has been extracted from an autograph book which has been signed By The Rolling Stones in blue ballpoint pen.
Brian Jones has added the inscription “The Rolling Stones”.
The autographs were obtained on the 1st of January 1964 when The Rolling Stones opened the very first broadcast of BBC’s Top of the Pops.
The autographs come with a note from the previous owner about her uncle who obtained them, the note reads:
my uncle Titch. Albert Addlington. Was my dad’s best friend, his wife Elizabeth (Betty) and daughter Kim, my friend from birth. There was no family after Kim so all Kim’s things came to my mother and I Kim named my mum as next of kin, Titch was a camera man in the 60/70s for BBC and later I TV. Working on Top of the Pops manly and later on Wish you were here with Judith Chalmers. My Aunt won a massive amount at tooting bingo, so they both stopped working and they invested in a sweet shop in Mitcham.
