Pink Floyd "The Dark Side of the Moon" 1972 Lyric Booklet and Complete Ticket
An original 1972 lyric booklet for Pink Floyd's iconic masterpiece, The Dark Side of the Moon, printed and distributed during the band's early 1972 British tour, more than a year before the official studio album was finalised and released in March 1973.
Because the music was entirely new and unreleased, these lyric sheets were placed on concert seats or handed out to attendees, designed to help the audience follow along with the unfamiliar material.
The internal pages of this booklet feature early, unrefined lyrics and working titles for the tracks. For instance, "The Great Gig in the Sky" was listed as "The Mortality Sequence," and "Brain Damage" was titled "The Lunatic Song".
Included with the booklet is an original complete ticket from Pink Floyd's landmark 1972 tour. The ticket was for a Pink Floyd performance at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester on Thursday the 10th of February 1972.
The booklet measures 29.8 x 20.9 cm.
The condition of the booklet is excellent.
The ticket measures 9.7 x 7.3 cm.
The condition of the ticket is near mint.
