Paul McCartney and Wings Back to the Egg Launch Party Collection, 1979

A rare and unusual collection of documents, drawings and photographs relating to Paul McCartney and Wings' private press launch party, which was held at Studio 2 inside Abbey Road Studios, St John's Wood, NW8, on the 11th of June 1979.

Included in the collection are:

• 15 vintage photocopies and original sheets of paper regarding the guest list, planning notes, media attendance and costings
• 4 hand-drawn pictures for the party's egg-themed furniture and décor
• 13 original black-and-white and colour photographs from the event, including a contact strip

The overall condition of the collection is excellent.
