Paul McCartney and Geoff Emerick Signed “Venus and Mars”

A French Copy of Paul McCartney and Wings album “Venus and Mars” which has been signed on the inner gatefold by Paul McCartney and Geoff Emerick in blue ballpoint pen.

Paul McCartney has added the inscription “To Jean Louie From” before his name.

The autographs were obtained at The Hotel George V in Paris on the 26^th of March 1976.

The album comes with a letter of provenance from the original owner which reads:

“From 3 July 1972 to 1992, I worked as a receptionist at the Hôtel George V in Paris. Over those twenty years, the hotel welcomed many of the world's greatest musicians, and my work often brought me face to face with them. During their stays, I was fortunate enough to collect signed items from a number of these artists, including the likes of Paul McCartney, The Who and Led Zeppelin. Every piece was signed for me in person, and each has remained with me ever since.

This copy of Abbey Road was signed for me by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, around 1975. Each of them added a personal touch: Paul drew an arrow pointing to his own figure on the zebra crossing, and Ringo did the same, marking himself out on the famous cover.”

The condition of the album is very good + with some light wear around the edges and on the spine
