Paul and Linda McCartney Autographs 1973

A cut piece of white paper which has been signed by Paul and Linda McCartney in blue ballpoint pen.

Paul Has also added the inscription “All the Best” before his name.

The autographs date to 1973 when Paul and Linda filmed footage for their single "Helen Wheels" along the lanes in Beckley.

The autographs come with a note from the original owner which reads:

“In June 1972 I started working in an Estate Agents in Northiam called Braxtons, immediately after sitting my GCE's.

Later the same year a bright red Lamborghini pulled up outside. Paul got out of the car and went with a child to the local shop down the road. Linda came into the Estate Agents.

They were interested in a round house in the middle of a 7 acre wood in the next village of Beckley (I understand they did eventually move from here to another local villaage and Paul still lives there. They bought the round house.

In 1973 they were going to release a single called Helen Wheels. I heard they were filming a video around the lanes in Beckley using a classic car (can be seen on Utube).

I went to the lanes and watched them filming.

Afterwards they approached me and my friend, and we chatted for a while and I was able to get their autographs.”
