George Harrison Handwritten Letter and Autograph 1964

An original handwritten letter sent from George Harrison to the mother of a young fan who turned up unexpectedly at George’s surrey bungalow. The letter is written on Kinfauns headed paper and reads: “Dear Mrs Braham Thank you for your letter. I would like to explain that it was my daily help who phoned the school and I knew nothing about it until the following day. You could tell Claire I’m sorry and find enclosed another autograph for her. John has now signed the book for Melanie, and she is free to call at the beginning of next week to collect it. Thank you again and best wishes from George Harrison” The letter is dated the 25/11/1964 and is accompanied by the additional autograph George Mentions in the letter as well as the mailing envelope which has been post stamped the 27/11/1964 from Chelsea SW3. The letter measures 18 x 13.6 cm The signed promo card measures 19 x 14.9 cm The mailing envelope measures 14 x 9.5 cm The condition of the letter is excellent with an extremely faint fold line The condition of the promo card is good with some water damage to the right hand side of the autograph
