Donovan Autograph 1960s
A cut piece of paper that has been affixed to an autograph book page which has been signed by Donovan in blue fine-nibbed pen.
Donovan has also added the inscription "thanks for your letter luv hope your scenes groovy" on another cut piece of paper.
Donovan was a close friend of the Beatles and travelled with them to Rishikesh, India, in 1968. While there, he famously taught John Lennon and Paul McCartney his unique finger-picking guitar technique.
The autographs were obtained in Kent and come with a letter from the original owner's husband which reads: "The autographs were obtained by my late wife (and probably her two older sisters) during the 60s. The family were born and grew up in Kent and I'm assuming went to live gigs of various groups."
